Privacy Policy

Plain-language summary: We collect very little. If you join the waitlist, we store your email address so we can invite you when testnet access opens — nothing else about you, no tracking cookies, no ad networks, no selling data. Your wallet address is public blockchain data, not something we collect from you.

1. What we collect

2. What we do not do

We do not sell, rent, or trade your email address to anyone.
We do not run third-party advertising trackers, analytics pixels, or cross-site tracking cookies on this site.
We never ask for your private key or recovery phrase, and we could not access your funds even if we wanted to — the protocol is non-custodial.

3. Where data is stored

Waitlist emails are stored using Cloudflare's infrastructure (Workers KV), on the same platform that hosts this website. Cloudflare acts as our infrastructure provider; see Cloudflare's own privacy policy for how they handle data on our behalf. We do not use a separate third-party email marketing tool at this stage.

4. Browser storage (localStorage)

This site uses your browser's local storage for two narrow purposes: keeping a backup copy of your waitlist submission on your own device, and remembering simple UI preferences in the testnet app (like your last-used tab). This data stays on your device and is never transmitted to us as tracking data.

5. Your rights

You can ask us to delete your email address from our waitlist at any time by emailing staterfisupport@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my data." We'll confirm removal within a reasonable time. If you're in the EU/UK or California, this covers your GDPR/CCPA-style right to deletion for the data we hold — which, again, is just an email address if you gave us one.

6. Children's privacy

StaterFi is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect data from, anyone under 16.

7. Changes to this policy

As the project moves toward mainnet, this policy will be revisited — particularly once real transactions, KYC-adjacent features, or third-party services are introduced. We'll update the date above when that happens.
